Three New Directors
We are very lucky to have had three outstanding Bonny Doon residents answer our call and accept appointments to the Fire Safe Council Board this summer: James Bybee, Paul Gabriel, and Tom Scully. Please keep in mind though that our annual meeting and board election is coming up in November, so it's not too late to serve you community and join in. Nomination and election procedure will follow later in September.
Shaded Fuel Breaks on the Horizon
We have been working hard with our partners planning the implementations of our shaded fuel breaks along Empire Grade near Braemoor, along mid-Empire Grade across from the airport, and south of Pineridge on the ridge above Majors Creeks' headwaters. There will be a kickoff workshop later this fall to present the plans and gather more feedback.
