Weather Update - Rain & Dispersion both good for a week.

Just got off the NorthOps conference call. Inches of rain over the weekend. Models (FWIW) indicate a series of storms over the next week or so. Atmospheric river could end up with a major dumping week after next w/ snow down to 3000'. Good smoke dispersion as long as the weather remains unstable. March is still predicted to be drier than normal.

According the hydrologists, we need 15"-20" of rain to bust the drought, so we're not there yet, by a long shot. Actually, most droughts in Central CA end w/ atmospheric river events, so we *could* still bust the drought by month's end. It all depends on how accurate the models are and how the atmospheric river meanders up and down the coast. Very cool animation on the California Weather Blog - www.weatherwest.com.

It's the weather, it does whatever it wants to.
